Inner Range always puts Security First, which means we completely understand how important data sovereignty and security is to our customers. This is why Inner Range has taken the Hybrid approach as opposed to a pure cloud-based SAAS or VSAAS model that exposes the customers' data to cyber-attacks.

Remote Management Capabilities

IR Connect enables real-time notifications triggered by system events—such as access breaches, environmental sensor alerts, or unauthorized activity. These alerts can be delivered instantly to mobile devices, tablets, or desktops, ensuring that operators are always informed and ready to respond. For high-stakes environments, IR Connect supports mass notification capabilities.

IR Connect facilitates remote live monitoring of Video Surveillance. When a video event is triggered, such as motion detection, loitering, or forced entry, IR Connect can instantly notify the operator and provide a direct link to the recorded footage. This allows for immediate situational awareness and rapid decision-making, all from a single, secure interface.

IR Connect delivers simplified remote firmware upgrades and remote diagnostics for IR Connected devices. Live system health monitoring combined with remote firmware update abilities not only reduce site visits but also enhance the responsiveness and efficiency of service teams.

When an Inner Range connected device goes online, the system prompts an automatic firmware update to ensure the latest features and security enhancements are implemented.

Enhanced Integration

IR Connect introduces an updated API framework, facilitating quicker and easier integration with third-party subsystems. This will now allow Inner Range to increase the number of integrations, whether developed in-house or enabled by third-party developers. As a result, we can expand the capabilities of our ecosystem and offer customers more choice and flexibility.

Emergency Management and Mass Notification Systems: When integrated with platforms like emergency messaging tools, IR Connect can trigger instant alerts, lockdowns, or other predefined responses based on real-time alarm events, sensor activations, or system inputs.

Identity and HR Platforms: Synchronizing with HR databases or identity providers means employee access permissions can be created, modified, or revoked automatically based on their employment status or role.

Building Automation Systems: Seamless integration with HVAC, lighting, and energy management platforms allows facilities teams to automate building responses based on access events. For example, lighting and air conditioning can activate automatically when a user badges into a secure area.

Additionally, automated actions can be configured to respond to a wide range of scenarios. These include:

After-hours access attempts automatically trigger notifications and initiate video recording in the area.
Loitering detection or unauthorized presence in restricted zones prompts automated voice announcements or dispatching security staff.
System health anomalies - such as device offline status or failed access attempts generating automated service tickets or escalations to system administrators via automated notifications.
Environmental sensor inputs (e.g., smoke, temperature, or water leak detectors) automatically triggering HVAC shutdowns or elevator recalls for safety.
