Inner Range is pleased to confirm that its Infiniti Class 5 Control Equipment has been independently re-certified by the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL) for a further two years.

The renewed Certificate of Class 5 Capability is valid from 2 October 2026 to 2 October 2028 and confirms Infiniti’s Class 5 capability with respect to AS/NZS 2201.1:2007, the Australian and New Zealand standard covering the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of intruder alarm systems.

High-security protection for demanding environments

Class 5 is the highest risk-profile classification defined within AS/NZS 2201.1:2007 and is associated with environments where the consequences of a security breach may be catastrophic. These applications can include government, defence, financial institutions and critical infrastructure.

Inner Range was the first electronic security manufacturer to gain independent ASIAL Class 5 certification for its Infiniti unified security solution. This latest re-certification reinforces Inner Range’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the documentation, product capability and compliance requirements that support high-security installations.

Secure, unified and scalable

Infiniti combines high-security intrusion detection with enterprise access control and security management in a unified platform. Its architecture supports encrypted and supervised communications from detection devices through to the controller, while providing the scalability required for complex and mission-critical sites.

The solution also supports a hybrid architecture, enabling high-security Class 5 areas and standard commercial-grade areas to operate within the same facility. This gives organisations the flexibility to apply enhanced protection where it is needed while maintaining a unified approach to security management.

Continued confidence through independent certification

ASIAL Class 5 capability certification requires ongoing compliance throughout the certification period. For an installation to be Class 5 compliant, it must also be installed, commissioned and maintained in accordance with AS/NZS 2201.1:2007 and the relevant Inner Range Infiniti Class 5 documentation, including site-specific installer and client compliance requirements.

The renewed certification provides consultants, integrators and end users with continued independent assurance that Inner Range Infiniti Class 5 Control Equipment is capable of supporting some of Australia’s most demanding security environments.
