Knowsley Learning Center

As part of the UK’s Building Schools for the Future programme, Knowsley Metropolitan Council replaced 11 secondary schools with seven modern learning centres designed to enhance student experience and support next‑generation education. These new facilities needed modern, scalable and efficient security capable of managing high student footfall, protecting IT and exam resources and upholding safeguarding standards.

Inner Range implemented a unified access control and security system that centralises permissions, simplifies administration and supports safe, smooth operations across all learning centres. Staff benefit from streamlined workflows, while students enjoy a secure environment designed to support collaborative, technology‑driven learning. The system is built to evolve, ensuring Knowsley’s learning centres remain secure, efficient and adaptable to future educational needs.
