Insight Professional incorporates a powerful Alarm Handler module which provides an extremely cost effective solution for the in-house monitoring of security and access alarm events.

• Custom alarm events
• Alarm events can be catagorised as critical, high, medium or low importance. Operator permissions may be implemented to determine which levels of alarm a particular operator type can see or acknowledge;
• Customisable alarm procedures. Alarm procedures are procedural notes that guide operators through the process of investigating and managing an alarm;
• Operator response processing including system-wide acknowledgement;
• Customisable acknowledgement window and message text;
• Multiple possible actions: Alarm events can also be programmed to trigger other actions such as opening Review, displaying a specific schematic floor plan, displaying a user's photo and employee information as well as playing a computer sound file (.WAV);
• All alarm event actions as well as the operator's written responses are recorded to Review. This information may be extracted at any later stage in the form of a filtered text file or HTML report;
• Alarm Handler may also be used for the notification of other non-critical events such as when a particular employee has just been granted access through a particular door.
