Inner Range

The RF Module provides a convenient interface for wireless key fob remote control in Concept IQ systems. The module connects to the Concept IQ LAN and can be installed in a suitable location up to 100 metres cabling distance from the Control Module. This allows a greater degree of flexibility for optimising the location of the RF receiver for the best coverage.

A Concept RF receiver is connected to the RF Module by one of 2 methods:

  • The receiver is mounted on-board by connecting directly into a header socket provided. (As supplied)
  • The receiver is installed in a suitable location up to 10 metres cabling distance from the RF Module. (Optional)

Four button key fob remotes can then be used to:

  • Arm and disarm the areas in the user's area list
  • Turn auxiliary 2 on the Control Module on and off.
  • Activate a panic alarm by pressing any two keys simultaneously.

Notes:

  1. Only one RF Module can be installed in a Concept IQ system.
  2. The RF Module DOES NOT provide door access control at this time.
  3. The four button key fob remotes (P/N: 995508) are sold separately.
  4. The RF receiver (P/N: 995509) is included and mounted on board, its plastic housing and cable are supplied so that the receiver can be mounted externally if required.
